Some of us may have wondered what dog food tastes like but would probably never give it a try. But that’s definitely not Serena Williams.

Right before her match against Christina McHale at the Italian Open on Thursday, Williams thought that she’d give her dog’s food a try.
“I thought, ‘What the heck? I’m gonna try a piece. It looks good,’” Williams said on Snapchat.
The dog food in question was made by the hotel and was a salmon dish fit for a fancy canine.
“Fast-forward two hours, I just ran to the toilet like I thought I was going to pass out. I mean, it did taste weird. It tasted kind of like house cleaner,” Williams said of the dog food. “I don’t know what they put in these dog foods, but Chip liked it. I don’t think it is consumable.”
Well, it is consumable, but not by humans.
Either way, Williams’ dog-food fiasco didn’t prevent her from advancing at the Italian Open.
