TMZ is reporting that Rohan Marley was involved in a fight at Voyeur nightclub in West Hollywood. Apparently Marley mistook a bystander for a valet. The bystander took offense, and a fight broke out between the two. Security, also known as an off-duty police officer, intervened, spraying mace on all involved and then putting Marley in a choke hold. Marley told TMZ that he was simply defending himself and feels the off-duty cop "went overboard." He says he'll look into pressing charges because he "can't just let this go." All of this over mistaking someone for a valet? Shaking our heads over here at The Root.
