When news broke that Zendaya would be the next celeb to create a capsule line with American style icon Tommy Hilfiger, we were admittedly more interested in the label than we’d been in years. Choosing the ingenue and burgeoning fashion icon was an inspired choice—though we weren’t exactly amped about the inevitable red, white and blue prep-inspired fashion that would likely ensue when the collection drops on March 2.

Well, color us corrected, because this week the brand teased looks from the line, and we want all the things.

We guess we should’ve known that paisley print Hilfiger was teasing would show up somewhere, but we did not expect it head-to-toe on a satin suit—or that we’d love it so much. Ditto for the nipped waist, mid-length dirndl skirts (a staple for this writer), flared, high-waisted and gold lurex-threaded, ‘70s-inspired separates; this is giving us major nostalgia in the best way imaginable.

All in all, the look is golden age of disco-meets-Summer of Love—which probably not-so-coincidentally was 50 years ago this summer, so the “Age of Aquarius” vibes we’re getting here are no doubt deliberate. On that note, Hilfiger has even put together an astrology-based lookbook. (Aries paired with that technicolor paisley? This ram says YES—though I’m less jazzed about the idea of paisley satin stretched across my non-Zendaya-sized ass. Those gold wrap strappy sandals for the Leos and knee-high boots-and-bag combo for the Caps and Gems, though? Count me all the way in.)

Of course, the best selling point here is that it’s designed for and modeled on the supermodel-like build of Zendaya; seriously, the Virgo starlet is giving us Partridge Family and Charlie’s Angels-level glamour in every shot.

Is it revolutionary? No. But it’s comfortingly retro—ever notice how late ‘60s-early ‘70s style revolves at a quicker pace than any other era of fashion? It’s also a welcome departure from Hilfiger’s well-known aesthetic, giving us a dose of classic American style with—dare we say it—soul?

The Glow Up tip: Love these looks? The Zendaya x Tommy collection will debut on Saturday, March 2 with a live runway show in Paris, France. The collection will simultaneously go on sale worldwide.
