An incident at an Overland Park, Kan., Wal-Mart is under investigation after a woman reported that a strange man walked up to her in the checkout lane and began choking her 4-month-old baby, KTLA reports.

A shopper who saw the Wednesday attack tackled the man and held him until police arrived, according to the report.
"While I was at the countertop, speaking with the lady and bagging up my groceries, this random man comes out of nowhere and yanks the car seat out of the cart," said Quisha Hill, the mother of 4-month-old baby Alyssa.
According to KTLA, Hill screamed and many came to help, resulting in the attacker punching a Wal-Mart employee before getting body-slammed to the floor by a security guard.
Hill said that her baby turned red for a few moments as a result of the attack but was expected to be fine.
The Wal-Mart store's manager cooperated with the police and said she was "appalled" by the incident.
