Simpson, who advertised her hairstyling services online, was working at the client’s apartment when the two began arguing because the client was unhappy with her haircut.

According to authorities, Simpson then sprayed her client in the face with pepper spray and ran out of the apartment.

The Belleville, N.J., woman was charged with a weapons offense and aggravated assault, authorities said.

The client was treated for minor injuries.

Simpson was released after bail of $35,000 was posted.
