We’ve all heard the saying “Loose lips sink ships,” and apparently Quincy Jones’ daughters had enough of him running his lips and airing people’s business in order to promote himself.

Earlier this month, in various interviews, Jones alleged that Michael Jackson stole music and that Richard Pryor and Marlon Brando had sex with each other, as well as saying that he has hos in different area codes. Many people wondered if Jones’ stories were tall tales or truth. But now it seems that the stories have come to an end, thanks to an intervention from his daughters.
The music mogul tweeted that his daughters basically told him to “STFU”:
Sure, most people enjoyed Jones’ stories, but others, like Pryor’s daughter Rain, did not. Jones admitted that he’s reached out to people he may have offended and issued a public apology. And now he’ll probably go and call one of his young lady friends so she can soothe his wounded ego.
