Queen Latifah stopped by Watch What Happens Live on Thursday and tried to make the next four years tolerable by dropping news that a Living Single redux is in the works.

You know what that means? It means that God does love us. If youโ€™re a millennial reading this, then Living Single was black Friends before Friends. If you donโ€™t know about Friends, then stop reading this post and click here.

WWHL guest Jason Sudeikis joked that he โ€œthought Friends was the reboot.โ€

Vulture notes that while white โ€™90s sitcoms have seen a revival of late, Living Single would be the first black show to see its on-screen life continued.

Latifah didnโ€™t say whether there were plans to bring back the original cast, although Iโ€™m sure Kim Fields is available after her short-lived time on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Latifah added that the process is still in the early stages but added that โ€œhopefully we can get it going.โ€

Now, if we can just get Martin to come back, all is well.
