According to the news station, the Columbus chapter of Socialist Alternative announced the rally on its Facebook page, saying that it was protesting President Donald Trump’s policies on everything from immigration to border patrol, among other issues.

The group started its protest at the Ohio Statehouse around 6:30 p.m. before marching over to the Franklin County Courthouse. While there, the protesters apparently blocked traffic along State and High streets.

Police say they warned the protesters to leave the streets, and when they didn’t leave, officers used mace to disperse the crowd. No arrests were made as a result of the protest.
