In the morning, the President will depart from Washington, DC en route Mt. Vernon, Iowa. The departure from the South Lawn and the arrival at Eastern Iowa Airport are open press.

Update: The President receives the Presidential Daily Briefing. Press Secretary Jay Carney will gaggle aboard Air Force One.

Later in the morning, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. The President's remarks will be open to pre-credentialed media.

In the afternoon, the President will depart from Mt. Vernon, Iowa en route Athens, Ohio. The departure from Eastern Iowa Airport and the arrival at Rickenbacker International Airport are open press.

In the evening, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. The President's remarks will be open to pre-credentialed media.
