In the morning, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at a private residence. There will print pool coverage of the President’s remarks.

Later in the morning, the President will depart Los Angeles, California, en route Las Vegas, Nevada. The President’s departure from Los Angeles International Airport and his arrival at McCarran International Airport are open press.

In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) where he will push Congress to pass his proposals to create jobs and improve the economic standing of middle class families. The President will speak specifically on his proposal to stop the planned doubling of interest rates for student loans, which would hit millions of hard-working middle class students and their families with the equivalent of a $1,000 tax if Congress doesn’t do its job and work together on a solution to keep rates low. The President’s remarks are open to pre-credentialed media.

Later in the afternoon, the President will depart Las Vegas en route Washington, DC. The departure from McCarran International Airport and the arrival on the South Lawn are open press.
