Later in the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Updated: In the afternoon, the President will make a personnel announcement in the Roosevelt Room. This announcement is pooled press.

Later, the President and Vice President will deliver remarks at the funeral service for the late Senator Daniel Inouye at the Washington National Cathedral.  The service is open to pre-credentialed media.
