In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

At 11:45AM, the President will deliver a statement in the Brady Press Briefing Room about the policy process the Administration will pursue in the wake of the Newtown tragedy. The Vice President will also attend. The President’s remarks will be open press.

In the evening, the President will deliver remarks at the Diplomatic Corps Holiday Reception at the State Department. There will be pooled press coverage of the President’s remarks.
