DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FORMONDAY, AUGUST 6, 2012

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later, the President will sign the Honoring America’s Veterans and Caring for Camp Lejeune Families Act of 2012. There will be a pool spray of the bill signing in the Oval Office.

In the afternoon, the President will depart the White House en route Stamford, Connecticut. The departure from the South Lawn and arrival at John F. Kennedy International Airport are open press. 

In the evening, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at Stamford Marriott Hotel. This event will be pooled press.

Later in the evening, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at a private residence. This event will be print pool for remarks only.  

In the evening, the President will return to Washington, DC. The departure from John F. Kennedy International Airport and the arrival on the South Lawn are open press.
