DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FORFRIDAY, AUGUST 3, 2012

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing. The President will then meet with senior advisors. These meetings in the Oval Office are closed press.

Later, the President will deliver remarks on the need for Congress to act to ensure that taxes don’t go up on 98 percent of Americans at the beginning of next year. He will be joined by middle class families and workers who would be affected if Republicans in Congress continue to hold their tax cuts hostage by insisting on massive tax cuts for the very wealthiest individuals. This event in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building is open press.
