Obama was preaching at the pul—er podium last night, focusing much of his discussion on education and what the Black community needs to do in his address to the NAACP convention.

He got worked into a pretty good lather too, talking about what we need to do and how we need to focus on personal responsibility and accountability, even going as far as to say we need to go back to whoopin’ knucklehead kids, whether they’re our kids or not.
That was a bit of a cringer moment, but it can be reasoned that he was using an extreme example to make his overall point. Plus, he was in a room full of old Black folks who totally ate it up.
