Yvonne Orji has signed a new deal with Flatiron Books and will be penning a faith-based book called Bamboozled by Jesus: How God Tricked Me Into the Life of My Dreams (and 20 Lessons I Learned Along the Way), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The book will provide advice to women, with Orji listing 20 life lessons she’s learned throughout her experiences with her family, religion, and other shenanigans. As THR reported, examples range “from how to save for a rainy day to building the ark before the flood, from thinking outside the box to realizing you’re not special (while instead making yourself available).”

Given her arc so far on Insecure, maybe Molly should read this book.

The title suggests Jesus will be involved, but her own podcast with Luvvie Ajayi suggests you can’t have Jesus without Jollof, so I bet there will be plenty of that, as well.

Orji’s been having a winning-ass year, having recently starred in Night School and currently developing her passion project, First Gen.

Cue “If” by Davido, the celebratory theme song of Orji and her squad, lovingly called the “African Voltron.”

There isn’t a release date for Orji’s new book yet, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled. Hashtag blessed.
