One neighbor in Pence's neighborhood made it clear why the rainbow flags were being raised.

โ€œA respectful message showing, in my case, my disagreement with some of his thinking,โ€ Ilse Heintzen told WJLA.

But will the flags make a difference to Pence? Heintzen told the D.C. news station that she has no idea but hopes that he changes his mind.
