Michael B. Jordan, who plays Apollo Creed’s son, Adonis, said he’s definitely down for a sequel, and with the movie raking in over $40 million, a sequel definitely seems like a good idea.

“A character so rich as this, and the world he’s in, I want to see what happens to him next and what he does,” Jordan told the Associated Press. “Especially the way it ends off, it’s pretty cool. I think with success and time and circumstances, it would be exciting to come back and work with [co-stars] Sly [Stallone] and Tessa [Thompson] again.”

Creed, which was directed and written by Fruitvale Station’s Ryan Coogler, is probably one of the best boxing movies of the last couple of years. And if it doesn’t pick up some awards, I’ll be shocked.
