Incarceration has become one of America’s biggest businesses, but what about when felons are released? Are they no longer a part of society? In states like Florida, Mississippi and Nevada and others, 4 million people have been denied the right to vote because of past felony convictions, and there is confusion surrounding the issue. On Saturday, MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry and her guests, including Colorlines voting-rights editor Brentin Mock, ask the question: Is this practice fair, or is America silencing a large portion of its electorate?
