Years ago, before becoming famous, Tyrese was singing the praises of Coca-Cola on the back of a bus. Nowadays, heβs not only in the Fast and the Furious movies, but he also uses his platform to slut-shame women.

Over the last couple of weeks, Iβve seen mentions of Tyrese all over my social media timelines. Heβs talked about his new black queen whom heβs recently married, but also found a way to shame black women who wear weaves and makeup after people questioned his queenβs blackness.
Just this Monday morning, the singer-turned-actor appeared on The Breakfast Club to discuss his issues with such women. But weβre just going to pretend like that didnβt happen and that heβs not married to someone he probably cherishes for having long, straight and βgood hairβ and who doesnβt βneedβ a weave (2:29 minute mark).
Letβs just get into this video clip of Tyreseβs appearance at BET Monday as well. And letβs just listen to his message.
βSluts, skeezers, hos and tramps are never without a man because they donβt have any standards,β the former ho said.
βYou got women who are out here active in these streets going to lunch and dinners every night,β he said. βYouβre going to put a lot of miles down there.β
So, according to the great philosopher Tyrese, it doesnβt take two to tangle. Men are not included in this equation of βhoβness.β Nor are his fellow brothers out there hoβing around, either.
This is the problem with some men.
Even after getting married to his so-called soul mate and being happy with what he has, Tyrese still feels the need to drag women and slut-shame them.
Tyrese and his misogyny should never have been let off that bus.
