Taylor would travel around the country injecting women with silicone to give them larger buttocks. This particular woman in Maryland died a few days after her procedure, an incident that Taylor claims is not his fault because he was “just trying to fix her.” He also claimed that she was already sick when she came in to see him.

According to the Post, Taylor had a scheme in which he set up branches of a clothing store called Suga K’s, where he would use the store’s name to order liquid silicone from a company in Philadelphia.

The silicone, however, was not medical-grade but food-grade silicone instead, which was meant for bottling and canning. Between 2008 and 2014, Taylor received gallons of it from the company about 180 times.

He was arrested in January and pleaded guilty in May to federal fraud charges for administering the illegal injections. On Friday he was sentenced by U.S. District Judge George J. Hazel for the 14-year term, which will be followed by a three-year supervised release.
