The Golden Globes nominations were announced today and, as expected, ‘Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire was among the nominees, but director Lee Daniels and screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher failed to make the cut.Along with a nod for best picture in the drama category, the movie snagged a best supporting actress nomination for Mo’Nique and a best actress nomination for star Gabourey Sidibe.
Thankfully for Daniels, awards season is less important than when people admit to him that they are molesting their daughter.
