Kerry Washington is teaming up with director Amma Asante for the new thriller Unforgettable. Asante, whose film Belle, starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw, captured wide attention, will mark her third directorial effort with Unforgettable.

According to Variety, Unforgettable centers on a man whose new wife (Washington) is menaced by his ex-wife, played by Kate Hudson.
Washington, who stars in the ABC hit Scandal, was last seen in the comedy Peeples, with David Alan Grier.
