This week, I am confident the only thing that mattered was that we all gained a new mantra: “Reclaiming my time.” Once again, thanks to the amazing Queen Auntie Maxine, not only do we have our new mantra and viral sensation, but we also have a whole new level of love and admiration for her. But I can’t take up too much time waxing poetic over it because we all know how valuable time is now.

No. 45 is up to his usual clownlike buffoonery. Headlines rang out this week claiming that the Trump administration was about to shit all over affirmative action. According to a document obtained by the New York Times, Donald Trump and nem are preparing to redirect resources of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division to investigate and sue universities over affirmative action admissions policies deemed to discriminate against white applicants. Yeah, I can’t, either.

I also can’t with HBO’s Confederate, which will be attempting to retell history from the perspective of a victorious South—which would mean endless slavery for all! How about no?! I am reclaiming my time and energy.

Above, watch this week’s episode of Judge of Characters—a digital show that passes judgment on pop culture through the lens of Black Twitter.
