Jewish author was behind black kids' books: Jewish Author Exra Jack Keats wrote and illustrated more than 20 children's books, most featuring African-American children, at a time when that was unheard of. His work  is now the subject of an exhibit, "The Snowy Day and the Art of Ezra Jack Keats."


Kardashian faces heat over "Indian giver" comment: Kris Jenner made headlines earlier this week after saying that she "hate[s] an Indian giver." The comment came in response to a Good Morning America host asking if her daughter Kim Kardashian would be returning an expensive engagement ring to soon-to-be ex-husband Kris Humphries. Now the National Congress of American Indians has gotten involved, saying that the comments were "wrong and hurtful," ColorLines reports.
