Ill. Dairy Queen Shuts Down After Owner's Racist Tirade Against Black Customer

People have seriously lost their minds when it comes to raising their racist freak flags. And now it's cost a Dairy Queen owner in Zion, Ill., his livelihood.

According to the Washington Post, James "Jim" Crichton owned a Dairy Queen in Zion, Ill. The operative word is "owned." Last week, Deianeira Ford attempted to take her kids out for a treat but was insulted with racial slurs when she complained about her order being messed up. Instead of rectifying the situation, Crichton called her all kinds of n-words.

"He called me and my children [n—ger]; he said I can go back to where I came from," Ford said. "He took out his flip phone and he said he would take a picture and put it on Facebook because he wants to show the world what kind of [n—ger] he has to deal with. Then he shut the window and walked away."

Ford then got into her car and called the police. When police arrived, they found Ford in her car crying. And just like a punk-ass racist, Crichton, when the cop spoke to him about the incident, boastfully bragged that he was willing to go to jail over it and admitted calling Ford a n—ger.

“Crichton boastfully told me he would be happy to go to jail over the issue and proudly admitted to calling Ford a n——-. He added that he is ‘fed up with black people,’” read the officer’s report.

But you can't go to jail for calling someone a n—ger. So Ford did the next-best thing: She took her grievances to social media and posted about the incident to Dairy Queen's Facebook page.

Within hours, Dairy Queen issued a statement and called Crichton's actions reprehensible. And once Crichton got word that headquarters had been contacted, of course he was apologetic, and even said he would attend sensitivity training. But it was too late. Dairy Queen decided to close Crichton's location and revoked his franchise license.

Locals gathered at the Zion location and celebrated the store's closing. No more ice cream for Crichton.
