When you leave your old job and start a new one, you always to want a glow-up, and you always want to show your old job that you are doing just fine without their ass. So when your old job and co-workers show up at your new job to see how just fine you really are doing, you have to give them what they’re looking for and send them on their way.

On Thursday night in Oklahoma City, the Thunder got their ninth-straight opening night win at home.
Hoodie Melo played 34 minutes and had 22 points. He was 8 for 20 from the field and 4 for 10 from 3-point range, and he hit 3 out of 5 free throws.
Russell Westbrook put up 21 points and got his 80th career triple-double with 10 rebounds and 16 assists. Paul George had 28 points, and rookie guard Terrance Ferguson got his first NBA regular-season basket.
On the Knicks’ side of things, Kristaps Porzingis came to play. He put up an impressive 31 points and carried the team as far as he could, but in the end, it wasn’t enough to stop the Thunder.
OKC played a good game and looked like it is ready for a good season.
I just want them to Keep. That. Same. Energy.

I love the Thunder, but they have let me down year after year. If we are keeping it 100, they should have been what Golden State with Steph Curry is now. But they blew it.
That’s not to say that they aren’t a good team; they just need to be able to keep it together throughout the season, and especially during the championships, when it really counts.
I think they can do it with the present lineup.
But first of all, they have to want it.
