Ghostface Killah’s Estranged Son is Clearing the Air After Dissing His Dad on Tracks

Wu-Tang rapper Ghostface Killah’s estranged son Infinite Coles may have dropped some ‘diss tracks.’ But he’s seemingly not totally dissing his father completely!

Updated on October 24, 2025 at 5:15p.m. ET: Infinite Coles, rapper Ghostface Killah‘s estranged queer son, is making a couple things clear when it comes to the relationship he has with his father and the “diss tracks” he dropped earlier this year.

Speaking in a new interview, Coles said that his songs weren’t meant to be a jab towards his father, but rather a creative outlet for him to express his side of the story when it comes to how they fell out.

“It’s no disrespect at all. My dad told his story on ‘All That I Got Is You.’ I’m just telling mine,” he said per Complex, referencing his father’s 1996 collab with Mary J. Blige.

He continued: “What’s the difference? If something happened to him, I’d be devastated. And I know if something happened to me, he’d be devastated too…He doesn’t have to accept me, but he can love me as his son.”

In news that can only be labeled as “nobody wins when the family feuds,” rapper Ghostface Killah and his estranged son, queer musician Infinite Coles are back in the headlines. But this time, things have gotten a whole lot messier. Let’s get into it!

If you’ve been paying attention over the last couple of years, things between Ghostface and Infinite have been put on front street with many being shocked at the allegations the legendary rapper’s son has lobbed against him. Those allegations stem from a May 2023 Instagram post in which Infinite aired out some of his issues with his “absentee father” in an attempt to finally get him to talk to him, per Complex.

Explaining how they hadn’t spoken to each other in 15 years, Inifinite wrote at the time: “@therealghostfacekillah I didn’t really want to do this; but at this point, I’m tired of keeping quiet to save your reputation. I’m tired of the PAIN. My heart has been aching and longing to be love[d] by you, MY FATHER for way too long. So since you are unreachable, perhaps this will get your attention.”

Infinite went on to allege that his father let him live in a shelter during the COVID pandemic, let his kids go without gas and lights, and claimed he was a “deadbeat” to all of his kids. Infinite, who identifies as gay, also said that Ghostface made him “hate hisself” for years.

While the “C.R.E.A.M.” rapper didn’t respond at the time to the allegations, it looks like even two years later, Infinite isn’t done talking. In fact, he’s gotten in the booth to release not one, but two “diss tracks” to air out his issues with his famous father. They were released over the weekend.

In the first song, entitled “Sweetface Killah,” Infinite makes it plain, saying: “How you in a Mack truck, but forget you a father/ Is it me? Am I not your cup of tea?/ Are my pants not low, like your self-esteem?/ Do I need to f*ck a bi*ch, just so you could see?”

In the second song, entitled “Dad & I,” Infinite wastes no time getting straight to the heart of the issue.

“Dad and I don’t see eye to eye/ I love you but I think that you be carrying/ You tell me to man up yeah, When I put on makeup yeah/ Nobody’s perfect no/ Can’t you see that I’m worth it/ Can you love me now?” he partially raps.

And while Infinite clarified that the songs weren’t “disses” online, it still didn’t stop other people from taking it as such and they were quick to hop on social media to express their views on the matter. In a surprising twist, most people were here for the song and praised Infinite for his artistry and talent.

“Getting dissed by your son for being a deadbeat dad is insane lol,” wrote one user on YouTube.

“[He] nherited the rapping ability like it was hereditary,” said another on X/Twitter.

“He got his talent as well cus he sliding on this,” one other user noted on X/Twitter.

Other users took the time to call out Ghostface himself for his alleged “deadbeat” behavior.

“Bitch tell me why Ghostface Killah disowned his gay son and that MF can rap his ass off. Lame af, he missing out on pure talent for sure,” said one user on Twitter.

Added another: “Just found out Ghostface Killah is a raging homophobe who disowned his son smdh. Your faves will always disappoint you.”

“Any man who is not proud to call such a talented young person their own dont deserve them…period!! Thats a great track,” one user wrote on YouTube.

One other user said in part, “I’m super disappointed in Ghostface that he would disown his own seed for years, and super impressed at your artistry out of all that. This was fire, and not for nothing, I hope you have nothing but success.”

As of this writing, Ghostface Killah has not publicly responded to his son’s songs, but he did post a clip of his interview with XXL on Saturday on Instagram.
