At the top of his list was the fact that his daughter Malia, who came into the White House as a small girl recently attended her first prom.

“I think it’s fair to say that the first time you see your daughter in heels is a little bit jarring,” he said. “She’s lovely. She’s beautiful,” said the president, who revealed his daughter’s rite of passage Friday on Live With Kelly and Michael.

“Malia did have her first prom,” said Obama, who would not say whether she had a date. “That’s classified information.”
