Mitt is set to premiere Jan. 24, after an earlier showing Jan. 17 at the Sundance Film Festival, ABC News reports.

“Greg Whiteley’s Mitt provides viewers a surprising level of access into a fascinating world,” said Lisa Nishimura, vice president of Netflix’s Original Documentary and Comedy division.

Whiteley, the film’s director and producer, said he was surprised by the access he got to Romney. He first met the Romney family in 2006, ABC News notes.

“I couldn’t believe I was filming inside rooms and situations I had no business being in,” Whiteley said. “I couldn’t be more pleased to share this experience with audiences around the world through Netflix.”
