Earlier this week, rumors surfaced that Janelle Monáe would be cast as Domino in the upcoming Deadpool sequel. But Ryan Reynolds put those rumors to rest after tweeting that Atlanta’s Zazie Beetz had captured the role.

Beetz, the only female lead on Atlanta, has also appeared in Easy (which is currently streaming on Netflix), Margot vs. Lily, Applesauce and Finding Her.
Although a release date for Deadpool 2 hasn’t been set, some say March 2018; a teaser for the film was released and is currently playing before Logan:
