Chris Rock is returning to his old stomping grounds Nov. 1, when he is slated to host an episode of Saturday Night Live. And if that’s not a big-enough reason to catch the episode, his Royal Purpleness, aka Prince, will be the musical guest.

Rock left the cast of SNL in 1993, and the last time he guest-hosted was in 1996. The Nov. 1 episode of SNL will mark Prince’s second appearance on the show; the first time was in 1981.
