All four Marines shown in a now-infamous video urinating on the corpses of three Afghan men have now been identified, and charges could be brought against them "in a matter of hours," CBS News reports.

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said the soldiers will be "held accountable to the fullest extent."

An unnamed official told the Associated Press that soldiers in the video were members of the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marines, which returned to its home base in North Carolina last fall. The clip surfaced Wednesday on YouTube. It reportedly depicts four men in camouflage Marine combat uniforms urinating on three corpses. One of them jokes, "Have a nice day, buddy," and another "makes a lewd joke," according to Reuters.

Pentagon officials say that they are checking the authenticity of the tape, the origin of which is unknown, but that so far they have no reason to believe it is a fake.
