"Forgive me,โ€ heย wrote Friday after reportedly beating and strangling Almonte. โ€œI did it for love. I did it because I love you. He told me love and hate are the same emotion.โ€

The Daily News reported thatย the couple were fighting in their Morris Heights home when the brawl left Almonte facedown, bleeding from a blow to the head in their fifth-floor apartment. Bellamyย allegedly also bit both of Almonte's shoulders.

โ€œI am God,โ€ read Bellamy's Facebook. โ€œI give life and can take it away.โ€

According to his rรฉsumรฉ, Bellamy performed as a backup dancer in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. Additionally, he was an ensemble member of Broadway's Tarzan in 2006.

Bellamy had also been arrested four times before the most recent incident, but none of them were said to have been violent.
