In news that can only be described as “wait, what?”—two unlikely figures in entertainment, namely Nicki Minaj and Ray J, have sat down for a lengthy yet random conversation and what it covered will shock you.

Taking place during a recent Instagram Live session, the topics that the duo covered were both wide-ranging and head scratching often flowing in between the other like spaghetti noodles. And just like spaghetti when given to a toddler, it was also messy and all over the place. As we previously told you, it was this same messy, near hour-long IG Live session where Ray J revealed more details about his near-altercation with Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sons Justin, Quincy, and Christian at a Halloween party.
Though the issue between Diddy’s sons and the “Last Wish” singer has since come to a resolve, 50 Cent couldn’t help himself from commenting on the matter, saying in a Instagram post over the weekend: “LOL YO THIS SHIT GOT ME CRYING. She said what ! You don’t know What to do with your self huh AWW LOL JUSTIN and them gonna fvck you up Ray.”
So it’s in light of this foolishness that we thought we’d highlight the wildest moments of this Instagram Live:
Ray J Asked Nicki Minaj to Sign Him on Her Label
“I hit you and said ‘sign me, I’m independent,’” Ray J said toward the beginning of their session, before adding: “I’m independent and I just feel like—and I’m just keeping it real, like on everything—if you sign me, I’ll be super lit. And that’s a fact. So like I always do, I tried. That’s all I can do is keep trying..”
He then went on to further attempt Minaj to sign him, detailing that he wanted her to be a part of a “multi-media play” that involved technology and AI, though he was quickly shut down.
Nicki Minaj Asks Ray J to Come Out the Closet
At one point, the conversation turned to Minaj saying how she values personal integrity over everything. When Ray J affirmed that stance, the “Anaconda” rapper then asked if he was happy with himself and the choices he’s made. Ray J answered yes and added that if he had on a wig, he’d date himself to illustrate how happy he was with who he is.
That in turn led Minaj to question whether or not he was coming out the closet. When Ray J said no, Nicki asked when he would to which the “One Wish” singer said:
“I can’t. I can’t. If there’s nothing in the closet, I can’t come out with it. But shoutout to the Gaygency...it’s a full on agency that focuses on LGBTQIA+ talent. We’ve been in business for two years...I don’t indulge but shoutout to the Gaygency.”
Ray J Says He’s an “Alien”
“Who is your God,” Minaj asked at one point, to which Ray J responded: “All things that’s centered around us is God, right? You have Allah, you have God, you have Jesus—everything is the higher power. So it’s just about the higher power, that’s all...I’m not a human. I’m a manifestatapian...I manifest so I’m not human, I’m more alien. That’s all.”
Nicki Threatens Ray J
During a completely unprovoked moment, Nicki warns Ray J and “everybody affiliated with playing” not to play with her and told him they would “regret it instantly” if they did.
“I don’t know what you’re on, I don’t know what you take but never take me for [an] idiot. You understand? And never take the God I serve for anything other than God, OK?” she said.
Ray J Jokes About “RayY Jelly” and Diddy
In an indirect way, the two started talking about the current Diddy scandal that’s unfolding. But when Ray J started complaining about how people were talking about the situation lightly and making jokes about it, Ray J said he sarcastically asked his friends if he should come out with “RayY Jelly,” a clear reference to KY Jelly, the popular sexual lube. It’s also a reference to the 1,000 bottles of baby oil the fed allegedly found in Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes earlier this year.
“Stop doing that when there are victims going through stuff,” Ray said. “That’s my main point. I don’t understand why its coming off in a way where people not understanding the political side and the voice that I’m trying to be for the community. I’m trying to be the main voice. I’m the main voice when it comes to politics. I’m on the news.”
