I do culturally identify as Black

biracial is what you are but black is what you identify as. Do you culturally consider yourself black?

I mean, when I was younger it used to really bother me to see biracial people not identify with being Black.

No one is saying anyone would. But would it be accurate to describe you as a biracial black woman? Rather than just biracial?

This is all I’m trying to say. It’s weird that black people keep wanting her to identify as black, when she’s already said she’s mixed, and that’s how it’s gon stay. And it’s not negative. it just is. Although I do understand why that decision irks some black people.
