Bexar County, Texas, sheriff’s spokesman James Keith said that the two bodies were discovered Friday morning inside a room at a building at the U.S. Air Force base. It is believed that the shooter is among the two dead, but the sheriff’s deputies and other law-enforcement officers are still investigating nearby facilities, along with the building in which the bodies were discovered. 

CNBC reports that as of 10:40 a.m. ET, the scene was still considered active, although a representative for the sheriff did say that it was not believed to be an active-shooter situation. 

The Bexar County sheriff’s office started tweeting about the shooting reports around 9:50 a.m. ET.
