The Associated Press is reporting that a police commissioner in Nigeria says that investigators have questioned two university students in connection with a gang-rape video posted on the Internet that sparked outrage in the country.
Abia state police commissioner Bala Hassan told the Associated Press on Saturday that the questioning came after detectives read online comments alleging that the men were involved. Hassan said police haven't spoken to the victim of the rape or received a formal complaint about the attack.
Hassan said that no one has been arrested or charged. Activists allege that the 10-minute rape took place at or near Abia State University. University officials have denied that the attack took place.
Seriously? A 10-minute gang rape video has gone viral, and authorities can't find the victim or the perpetrator? We're not buying it. Are you?
