Scary On-Air Incident During News Broadcast Finally Explained

In honor of Thanksgiving, a day where we give thanks and stuff our faces (hopefully in that order), The Root staff decided to try some “healthy hacks” (read: healthful substitutes for Thanksgiving dinner).

Khaleeqa Rouse of Paparoxi.com provided the grub: black-eyed peas, kale quinoa salad and a pumpkin carrot soup. She also offered fresh juice made from Pink Lady apples, ginger and lemon. Cheers!
