I need to rant a little bit about the latest outrage in American sports: the dissingย of Barry Bondsย byย baseball writers who vote to admit former major league baseball playersย into the baseballย Hall of Fame.ย (Only three guys who died in the thirties will get in this time.)ย 36%??!!ย You have got to be kidding me! Why, exactly, isn't the greatest baseball player of our generation not a first ballot Hall of Famer?ย But field, heย used steroids, he wasย a one of the main players in what is being called the "Steroid Era" of baseball. Oh Please!ย  I am sickย of selective outrage and retroactive moralizing by theseย clowns who get to vote.ย (BTW, 36 voters voted to leave Jackie Robinsonย out of the Hall, so I guessย we shouldn't beย surprised at what this fraternity of dunces does with the power given to them by baseball.)ย ย  Barry Bonds was a great playerย beforeย the so called "Steroids Era", and when he allegedly started juicing he became superhuman. Heย would have been a first ballot hall of famerย before he allegedlyย stuckย the firstย Victorย Conte needle in his ass. So what's the problem? If everyone else around him was juicing where is the competitiveย advantage? Doย you really believe thatย Rogerย Clemens was the only pitcher allegedlyย juicingย at the time? If you do, I have a wonderful antique bell with a slight crack on the side here in Philadelphia to sell you.ย
