We live in a time when videos of Karens Karening are unfortunately all too common. This week, a clip of a strange encounter between a Black man and a white woman in a Virginia park is going viral, as outraged viewers are blowing up the comment section, calling out what they see as blatant racism.

TikToker @bleedz999 posted a three-minute video of a white woman confronting him in a park. “Just a few minutes of being a black man in virginia,” he captioned his post.
In the video, the woman approaches him and asks, “What are you doing in this neighborhood?” She continues to walk towards the man, who seems genuinely confused by her question, and accuses him of having a gun in his waistband that he has been pointing it at people in the neighborhood.
“You’ve been f*ing with people and our block and we’re not ok with that,” she says. “You want to point a gun at somebody? Show me that s*t bro!”
Despite the Black man telling her that he has no idea what she’s talking about, the woman keeps following him, accusing him of threatening people in the area, including a mother and a daughter in a crosswalk. As they pass a group of kids playing, the man tries to get others to notice.
“Hey, everybody! She’s trying to racially discriminate me, bro!” the man calls out to others in the park at the time.
But rather than try to argue that he was wrong, the woman goes on to confirm what the man and literally everyone else who watched the video were thinking all along.
“Yes, I am definitely doing what he said,” she replied.
Parents in the area can be heard saying, “there’s kids around.”
The clip has received over 120,000 views and nearly 2,000 comments, mostly from people who wonder why a woman who feared for her life would approach someone she thought had a gun.
“She saw a gun but she walked up on him in a isolated forest😂😂😂 the fatigue,” wrote someone in the comments.
Others questioned why none of the bystanders in the park tried to help.
“So did ANYONE try to assist? They walked past so many people who heard what was going on and did nothing,” wrote another commenter.
The man who posted the video also commented, responding to those who think he should done more to defend himself.
“For the people saying i shouldve did sum , im 6’3 190 in an entire white neighborhood i wouldve been the aggressor things mightve been worse for me,” he wrote.
