On today's Morning Joe on MSNBC, Pat Buchanan explained what he meant when he used what some interpreted as a racially loaded slur to refer to the president:

Let me clarify something that happened last night on the Al Sharpton show, a very spirited discussion. I was asked who was the big losers in these battles, and the big winners. And I said one of the big losers, using boxing terminology, was "your boy" and I meant the president of the United States โ€ฆ This was taken โ€” some folks took what I said as some kind of slur โ€” none was meant, none was intended, none was delivered โ€” for the record.

Slur? We're going to have to go with Pat here and agree that it wasn't one. But really, is it so hard to call the president by his name or title?
