Commenting on a gorilla that escaped from South Carolina’s Red Banks Zoo Friday night, DePass noted on Facebook that the animal was probably a relative of Michelle Obama’s and thus, harmless.
As you might imagine, that comment went over like a lead balloon.
To his (dis)credit, DePass admitted he was talking about the First Lady, just before he claimed he was just riffing off something she had said previously, a comment that has yet to be verified.
