First of all, The Hill reports that Trumpโ€™s aides were scrambling after word of the interview leaked, since he apparently didnโ€™t tell anyone about it. And you know what happens when this man isnโ€™t handled: He lies at least two dozen times. On the record.

And he also shows what a mess of an administration he runs.

The Post reports that when one official was asked about the interview with writer Michael Schmidt from the Times at Mar-a-Lago, Trumpโ€™s Florida compound, the official responded, โ€œWhat interview?โ€

What interview indeed.

Trump reportedly showed his pink-orange ass by saying that he has the โ€œabsolute rightโ€ to do whatever he wants regarding the Robert Mueller investigation and denied collusion between his campaign and Russiaโ€”but if there was collusion, itโ€™s not a crime.

Those are but a few of the lies.

He also came with lies smallโ€”โ€œPaul Manafort only worked for me for a few monthsโ€โ€”and big: โ€œThere was tremendous collusion on behalf of the Russians and the Democrats,โ€ a claim the Post calls โ€œbreathtakingly false.โ€

President Loco also said that he โ€œsaved coalโ€ and West Virginia is โ€œdoing fantastically nowโ€; that we spent โ€œ$7 trillion in the Middle Eastโ€ (a number the Post says is more like $1.6 trillion); and that โ€œthe wallโ€ will โ€œstop drugs from coming into the country.โ€
