In what was apparently an impromptu interview with the New York Times on Thursday, the president of the United States lied no fewer than 24 times, according to the Washington Post, which is obviously expending its precious resources to fact-check the president, a known fibber.

First of all, The Hill reports that Trumpโs aides were scrambling after word of the interview leaked, since he apparently didnโt tell anyone about it. And you know what happens when this man isnโt handled: He lies at least two dozen times. On the record.
And he also shows what a mess of an administration he runs.
The Post reports that when one official was asked about the interview with writer Michael Schmidt from the Times at Mar-a-Lago, Trumpโs Florida compound, the official responded, โWhat interview?โ
What interview indeed.
Trump reportedly showed his pink-orange ass by saying that he has the โabsolute rightโ to do whatever he wants regarding the Robert Mueller investigation and denied collusion between his campaign and Russiaโbut if there was collusion, itโs not a crime.
Those are but a few of the lies.
He also came with lies smallโโPaul Manafort only worked for me for a few monthsโโand big: โThere was tremendous collusion on behalf of the Russians and the Democrats,โ a claim the Post calls โbreathtakingly false.โ
President Loco also said that he โsaved coalโ and West Virginia is โdoing fantastically nowโ; that we spent โ$7 trillion in the Middle Eastโ (a number the Post says is more like $1.6 trillion); and that โthe wallโ will โstop drugs from coming into the country.โ
