'The Famous Jett Jackson' Dead at 29

(The Root) — Online and off, fans of Lee Thompson Young are mourning his death after reports of his possible suicide.

Many remember Young from his days as the star of his own Disney show, The Famous Jett Jackson. He then went on to win new friends with his role as Detective Barry Frost on the show Rizzoli & Isles. It seemed that Young had beaten the curse that many child stars fall prey to when they get older and work dries up.
