On Tuesday, staffers at the show expressed issues with having Brown on because of his past with domestic violence. And it looks like those staffers may have won. Host Trevor Noah, who witnessed his mother being abused, wanted to use Brown’s appearance as an opportunity to discuss domestic violence.

OnBrown’s Tuesday also included having to cancel his tour in New Zealand and Australia after being denied a visa because of his violent past.

Maybe the staffers at The Daily Show should look into the pasts of all their guests, because if they took issue with Brown, I’m sure some skeletons will fall out of the closets of a few other people. And quite possibly their own.
