Back in April, Vanessa Bell Calloway re-created her iconic wedding dress from Coming to America, and at age 59, she proved that her black didn’t crack. Now there’s one teenager who decided to pay homage to Calloway and the movie and ditched the puffy taffeta for a prom dress fit for a queen.

Jawana Young, of Benton Harbor, Mich., re-created Calloway’s look, and even had her date dress as Prince Akeem, for the prom. And yes, she had someone carrying her train as well.
Videos of the results were uploaded by Jawana’s proud mom, Diane Young, and just like she said in one caption, her daughter “did that.”
