A New York scam artist who admitted to selling fake tickets to the Broadway hit musical Hamilton was sentenced to 1-3 years in prison Tuesday, the New York Daily News reports.

Anthony Huger, 32, admitted to selling the fake tickets to a Westchester County, N.Y., couple Jan. 8, scoring $450 in his scam, before tricking a Manhattan man into buying another pair of fake tickets three weeks later for the price of $300.
He tried to sell another fake ticket on a third occasion but was set up by police and taken into custody, the Daily News notes.
Huger was already on parole for an unrelated case when he was charged in the Hamilton scam in April.
