Last week, on the heels of the video being released that showed former Baltimore Ravens star Ray Rice knocking out his wife, CBS canceled a prerecorded segment featuring Rihanna that was set to run on the opening night of Thursday Night Football.

“Run This Town,” a collaboration between Rihanna and Jay Z, was supposed to be TNF’s new theme song, but instead the network aired Rice coverage. Although CBS didn’t entirely blame the singer’s involvement with domestic violence as the sole reason for pulling the plug on the song, it did acknowledge that it played a role in the decision.
On Tuesday morning Rihanna took to Twitter to express her disappointment with CBS after finding out that the network wants to use the song this week:
“CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, [f—k] you! Y’all are sad for penalizing me for this,” she wrote.
She ended her rant with one simple tweet:

According to a reporter at the New York Times, after Rihanna’s rant, CBS decided to drop her song from this week’s Thursday Night Football game.
