โRun This Town,โ a collaboration between Rihanna and Jay Z, was supposed to be TNFโs new theme song, but instead the network aired Rice coverage. Although CBS didnโt entirely blame the singerโs involvement with domestic violence as the sole reason for pulling the plug on the song, it did acknowledge that it played a role in the decision.
On Tuesday morning Rihanna took to Twitter to express her disappointment with CBS after finding out that the network wants to use the song this week:
โCBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, [fโk] you! Yโall are sad for penalizing me for this,โ she wrote.
