โ€œRun This Town,โ€ a collaboration between Rihanna and Jay Z, was supposed to be TNFโ€™s new theme song, but instead the network aired Rice coverage. Although CBS didnโ€™t entirely blame the singerโ€™s involvement with domestic violence as the sole reason for pulling the plug on the song, it did acknowledge that it played a role in the decision.

On Tuesday morning Rihanna took to Twitter to express her disappointment with CBS after finding out that the network wants to use the song this week:

โ€œCBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, [fโ€”k] you! Yโ€™all are sad for penalizing me for this,โ€ she wrote.

She ended her rant with one simple tweet:

According to a reporter at the New York Times, after Rihannaโ€™s rant, CBS decided to drop her song from this weekโ€™s Thursday Night Football game.
